Eugene Member 670 Member For: 20y 8m 27d Gender: Male Location: Newcastle NSW Posted 06/08/05 03:52 AM Share Posted 06/08/05 03:52 AM Hi all,Just finished installing some injectors and re gapping the plugs on a mates ute, I had previously put in the Typhoon CAI and an xede, he Hi-flowed the exhaust and now has the Bosch squirters in there.He is as happy as a pig in Poo, a nice gentle 11psi tune,( Same tune as what chopper ran a 12.5 on the other night), 270 rwkw on pump BP 98 ultimate.What gets me is the guy is 70 years old, he loves it, took of with a nice chirp, spinning into second as he merges into the traffic, 70 years old and still a HP freak.I should mention he also has a 52 ft cruiser that runs two 900hp detroits, tops out at 36knot, this guy loves GO.So if your in Newcastle, see a really clean white turbo ute with a little grey haired gent behind the wheel, Look out, he may just embaress you. Is this achieable. If so using/doing what and where.No one in Newcastle that I have contacted seem interested! There isn't many places in Newcastle I believe that have enough experience with the T to work on them. Fitting upgraded parts etc is fine but when it comes to tuning I'd take it to Sydney.
