If I unbolt the calipers and slide them off the rotor, will they clamp shut and make it a *beep* to get them back on? I don't have many tools other than spanners and screwdrivers.Muz Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/19265-urgent-question/ Share on other sites

This should be an easy slide off then back on.No need to bleed the brakes after. It was only for the rears that there was a problem because with one wheel jacked up, in neutral and no handbrake I couldn't rotate the rotor to clean and paint it (I assume because of the LSD). Problem solved by jacking the entire rear end (still tough to rotate though). In any case I've learn't something today.CheersMuz Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/19265-urgent-question/#findComment-279691 Share on other sites
