I had my car parked on a main street, and left it for 10 minutes to go and pick up some take away food. I get back and find that something has taken to my car with a sharp metallic object! It's on the drivers side just under the mirror.

It doesn't look that big in the pics, the big one is about an inch long and the little one about 10mm long, but when looking at it from an angle in the sunlight, you can see the crease in the panel where the pressure was first applied.

Quote from the panel shop is $722. The whole door and then some blending needs to be done.

FARKEN KENTS in this world I tells ya! :spoton::sick::sick:

Get a 2nd Quote. I just had my GT scratched from front to back with a sharp object. Cost me $660 to respray all 4 panels.

Alas someone has got it again, only about 4 inches in the drivers door and 2 inches in the rear quarter. Same side that had just been painted

Man that's crap I know how u feel, I've had 2 cars keyed, the first one the did every panel so I got a free whole car respray through insurance. And the second time some gutless f*cker keyed one whole side, again fixed under insurance. there is no worse feeling than seeing that someone has messed with your ride :cussing: :cussing:

Dude, that really sucks; I'm sorry to hear it. I can only echo the sentiments already expressed. They wouldn't want to be caught in the act eh?

Funny you say that. My missus asked me if I had honked the horn at someone, but in a small town you don't unless it's totally needed, cos you never know when you will see them again! And I have not abused or honked at anyone since I moved here. It was prolly dome little tool that thinks holdens are better!

Mate what can I say. There are some real pricks about. :spoton:

I would get another quote. I had my passanger door repaired and completely resprayed and refitted for $400. Might cost a little more to colour match the Envy colour I dont know I'm not a panel beater.

That reminds me I must catch up to the fat one that did the damage before I leave, he said he would pay to get it repaired but has'nt coughed up yet or even contacted me. He knows I've had it fixed for months now as well.
