Falchoon I see red Member 5,758 Member For: 22y 20d Location: nowhere in particular Posted 04/08/05 01:14 PM Share Posted 04/08/05 01:14 PM I was dropping off some parts at a panel shop the other day when I saw a Lightning Strike BA XR8 tray back ute parked out the front. Clean looking unit, a bit unusual being a tray back rather than a proper ute. It also had 20" chrome wheels that really aren't my cup of tea and also had a set on the attached tradesman trailer (you know, the triangle type trailer). Parked along side it and took the parts into the shop and on my way out I did a double take. It had VZ SS guard flutes! Not sure if I liked it or not. Sorta looks like the owner was confused and couldn't make up his mind what brand of car he wanted!Who's going to be the first XR owner to graft Monaro bonnet vents to their car?! They look like an afterthought on the sedans. As for those rims though. I swear some people just get big rims for the sake of it, even though they are fuggin hideous.
