Was considering changing to iridium or platinum long life plugs and after a pretty thorough search coulnt find anything here too specific - apart from lots of talk about gap etc... Wondered if anyone had any make and model preferences?? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/19228-spark-plugs/ Share on other sites

Miss_Aly Donating Members 615 Member For: 20y 11m 25d Gender: Female Posted 04/08/05 01:29 PM Share Posted 04/08/05 01:29 PM I have just had my spark plugs changed, having done 53000km with the standard ones and just in the last few thousand K's the car started to blow very white thick smoke when you give the car a good boot (full throttle). Since the change over to new spark plugs purchased at Autobarn for $10 each called Laser Iridium Premium and gapped at .9mm I have had no problems.
