One of the problems that I was having with the car was a "creeking" noise in the front end. One of the ford " trained tecnitions" advised me that this was not a warrany thing but in fact was a maintenance thing and of course they would charge me to fix it. Wouldnt you think that a car that has 18,000 on the clock would not have this problem and if a such problem did exist that they would fix it...What are your thoughts??revheadrobbo Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/19078-noisy-front-end/ Share on other sites

I thought it was something to do with the shimming of the steering rack.Let me know how you go. Is it Dominelli's that you took it to? that's where I take mine so I hope I don't encounter the same problem! If they try to make me pay for anything I'll tell them where to jam it! Of course I suspected they were taking me for a ride so I told them no For all those Sutho people it was Domineli so if you still want to take it there note down your kms. I had a brake shudder problem also and it appeared thay they gave the car a flogging. When I dropped it off the car was well over 3/4 full of fuel. when I got it back I found it well under the 3/4 fill mark and there was a load of brake dust on the rims. Kinda spewing I didnt note down the k's. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/19078-noisy-front-end/#findComment-277259 Share on other sites
