Hi there,

I went to the Dyno day and had a good one, so I will be in for the next day but cant make it on the weekend of 26/27th Aug.

The social club at work went to the Munduring weir last weekend and they said it was great. A old pub but with plenty of grounds, and on the sunday arvo there was 80+ people up there chillin out...4WDers, mountain bikers, dirtbikers and harley riders....

Car parks (approx 4 off) are apparently small but spread out nicely.

Some peolple left from Freo and rocko and it took them about an hour to get there.

Up south street, Roe highway Kalamunda road, and Mundaring weir Rd.

If any one else has actually been there they might be able to help more...

Hope that was some help to get the ball rolling..wish I had the time to organise it but works full on at the mo... :crybaby:

Cheers - Matt

Below is the social club invite for REFERENCE

As the weather is finally starting to warm up a little, at 2:00pm this Sunday 7th Aug a few of us have decided to head up to the Mundaring Weir Pub for lunch in the beer garden a few drinks, listen to the band and maybe even a little dance.

So if your keen, bring the family along to the pub by taking the Mundaring Weir Rd from Kalamunda and look for the signs about 1km past the weir lookouts. It’s a great opportunity for those of you with new cars to take them out for a run or those with the old sporty ones (Steve M) see if they can still make it up the hills.

And for those with motor bikes, we are meeting at my place at 12:00pm then heading for a bit of a ride before meeting at the pub at 2:00pm.

No bookings required, just turn up and enjoy the afternoon.

Not that I want to intrude on any anyone's plans, but the "Black Beast" & I will be in Perth the week of Sept 5-9 (I'm presenting at a technical conference). I plan on driving Caves Rd on Sat Sept 10th, if anyone is interested. Plus it would be good to catch up with you all while I'm in town.

I can reccomend the trip from Mundaring up to New Norsia. Very nice piece of blacktop. Doesn't take too long, and a decent hotel up there for a few ales..
