Great work Spiro. Did you use fourth gear at all for the 134mph run?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

No fourth gear required!

Tyre was 28 inches high it will 143mph at 7200rpm geez!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

So is the fourth gear still useless? What's your power like above 5800rpm?

Imagine how fast you could go with a 3 speed auto instead...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Well Geeseman

To put it in a nutshell the power over or on 5800rpm is like the devil!

It turned the tyres second run at the 1000ft mark at 180kmh so that shoud tell you something.

Congratulations Spiro and C&V! :spoton:

OK, that's made my mind up..I am seeing C&V so out goes the Unichip & in goes the Edit with a sweet intercooler to go with the APS Phase II hardware. :spoton:

Umm. Err. Dont worry Spiro, I am not hunting your records, just something that can get me quickly and enjoyably away from a nagging ex-missus. :spoton:

Wish you the best with all your future endeavours. :spoton:

Safe and happy driving...Dr Z. :spoton:

I hope it goes well Dr Z.

Con told me last night that he's now replaced many Unichips with the Edit, with major improvements to be gained.

I must admit I had my doubts about Spiro using the Edit with the power levels that he's chasing, but so far it seems to be working well, which is good news for all.

What I love is that this car hit the scales at 1810kg....

Imagine what taking 100kg off might achieve...

I really think this car will break into the 9 second mark on its next drag meeting.

Can't wait!
