Where can l start and what can l say, yesterday after work heading home l was heading down the Sth Gippy Hwy and as l came around the large roundabout on the right hand lane l relised a car on my left was moving too close to mine and as you do l accelarated to move out of his way and that's where it all began.

l hit boost and hit the median strip sliding across the grass and totally lost control of the car, thinking to myself is this going to be the end l saw the wheels of a Semi moving in the oppisite side of the road and hit it with full impact..........airbags went off and that's all l remember. When l came too lying down in the car l didn't know where l was BUT thank GOD l walked out of it with a bump on the side of the head and bruises all over my body. l was off to hospital in the Ambulance and the rest is history...........BUT l would like to say this the XR6 T is a great car and very safe one at that, l have alot of respect for these cars.

l want to thank GOD that l am alive and my wife and family for the support so far...........NOT to forget my close friends Craig, Rob at HPF, Steve (Gassit) and everyone else that l haven't mentioned sorry as l'm still in shock and emotional at the moment. l thank GOD that it was the side of a Semi and not another car as it could of been worse.

The car is a right off and the insurance has taken care of that, but l'll be back in a BA again soon.

Pics are at the bottom.

Holy

that's some serious damage and must have been quite an impact... good to hear you're ok with only minor injuries - you can always replace the T but not your health...

Did everything happen in slow motion?? I remember when I slid over a median stip (in my teenage years!!) and the whole thing was in ultra slow motion - a really wierd feeling...

Just goes to show how easlily accidents can happen...

Again - glad to hear u are ok...

George, I'm glad to see you are alive. I hope you don't have any problems with insurance paying out your health and car requirements.

It'll be good to see you in a new one soon
