Nice figure stock

Dont expect heaps more power just cause the car makes more standard

Hsv's make alot more at the wheels than SS but with the same mods at the end of the day they make the same power

Cause like HSV the FPV cars have a better tune in them which is replaced later anyways

Yes, but with the beefier rods and clutch setup, the potential $ for $ goes further in the way of the foon, to a point..

Much cheaper to get 350rwkw out of a foon than an XR6T, agreed??

Nice work mate !!. 221 at the wheels indicates about 270 at the fly. Seems to be the norm for phoons I think, altough I have only heard of about 6 dyno'd. As for 260-270 RWKW I wouldnt bother with it just go straight to 300+ RWKW.

Edit+injectors+cat+CAI will get u that easy. Plus the T-56 will have no trouble with this power level however im not 2 sure about the clutch  :stirthepot:

...will I need the CAI? - the F6 already has the 2nd air intake fitted - or is it the wider scoop unnder the front of the bonnet that I will need?

I was thinking Edit+Injectors+Cat only.

I have heard the fuel computer will not read correctly after the injectors are fitted -is that correct, or can the edit adjust for this??

What about 'driveability' around town at 300+rwkw - I guess it will be the same until the right foot is depressed??

No need for CAI as it has two now and they are acceptable for 300rwkws

Yep edit injectors and Cat will get you 300rwks .. Maybe a K&N or BMC filter might not go astray either.

When the injector size is edited into the map your trip/fuel computing will work OK.

Your drivability will be great around town and quite normal until you go past ¼ throttle at witch point it will go animal if you wish!!!

Do some pricing and Ill think you will be very happy at how cheap a phoon is to get to 300rwkw's :spit:

Agreed it would be a bit cheaper and safer with the strong rods but being manual it will still be slow

350rwkw isnt an easy mark to get to and it isnt a matter of just putting an intank pump and injectors as I found out

also 350rwkw is starting to push the limits of pump fuel

Went to the FPV Club of Tassie's Dyno Day today and decided at the last moment to stick the F6 on the rollers.

Car is completely stock and runs 95 RON fuel (no 98 RON available at pumps in Tassie...yet)

221 rwkw on 1st run and 216 on the second.... just over 9psi boost reached on both runs at 2800rpm, dropping to 7psi by 4500rpm, and 6psi at 5700rpm

Pretty happy with the results.....and now plans for the Edit!

Plan to talk to Simon in Perth re options for around September, as I would like to get at least 10,000 k's on the clock before 'playing'.

Any good ideas for what 'first steps' to take to get to 260-270rwkw??

Mate despite what you may hear to the contrary, just follow Simons advice. I watched his car destroy a Honda NSX and a 350 Monaro rolling accessory shop last night and he's the only bloke I know who gives you exactly what he says he will. A ford fanatic and genius, asking everybody else gets too confusing. :spoton:
