This has happened just last night. I've had the edit for ~ 1 month, but when I noticed it was down on power I'd put the Std map back in. I guess it's off to Ford and we'll see if they can tell and if they do refuse my warranty claim.

N.B I'm not suggesting the EDIT caused the failure, But I bet Ford do!

Philosophical am I,

seems no point to sit and cry

If ya mod you pay the price,

though blown turbo just aint nice

I’ll take it in and try my luck,

But I think that ford wont give a :stirthepot: .

Anyways, if they don't I guess I'll just go mod- mad!

I would never expect to laugh at a thread like this, but your poetry does it every time. Sorry to here of your woes though mate - perhaps there is a bit of dog stuck in the intake!

well mine did the same 1 month ago.since then it have had no end of trouble with ford not knowing what it is

they thought there was no problem because there wsa no errrors but I had a dyno saying it was running at 150rkw ...they thought it was the turbo and that seems ok then it was the wastegate actuator and that made no difference .just off the phone no and they have a donor car that they are just replaceing part till they find out what is wrong

the symptoms are drives normal but as it gets in to the rev ranges it stuggles like a cat problem ,but they said they checked the cat and it is fine (they never pull the cat off as yet )it is a little down on boost as well

I had a problem with my car, where it basically wouldn't get any boost. Was originally diagnosed as a faulty wastegate solenoid, but after replacing that they took it for a test drive and it was ok for a few minutes then no boost again. They then diagnosed it as a faulty PCM and replaced that. Been good ever since.

Sorry to hear about your problem. My car started running on 4 cyl one day and they finally said the old PCM had thrown a wobbly and had to fit another PCM to fix the problem. Ford wanted the old one to see if I had modified it. I guess they were looking to see if I had the edit loaded. As I have'nt had the edit done I had no problem with it.

Hope you remembered to load your stock tune back in just in case.

I feel confident that things should work out in your favour. :stirthepot:
