Posted 12/07/05 10:39 PM Share Posted 12/07/05 10:39 PM This has happened just last night. I've had the edit for ~ 1 month, but when I noticed it was down on power I'd put the Std map back in. I guess it's off to Ford and we'll see if they can tell and if they do refuse my warranty claim.N.B I'm not suggesting the EDIT caused the failure, But I bet Ford do! Was originally diagnosed as a faulty wastegate solenoid, but after replacing that they took it for a test drive and it was ok for a few minutes then no boost again. They then diagnosed it as a faulty PCM and replaced that. Been good ever since. My car started running on 4 cyl one day and they finally said the old PCM had thrown a wobbly and had to fit another PCM to fix the problem. Ford wanted the old one to see if I had modified it. I guess they were looking to see if I had the edit loaded. As I have'nt had the edit done I had no problem with it.Hope you remembered to load your stock tune back in just in case. I feel confident that things should work out in your favour. macka Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/18794-edit-turbo-failure/#findComment-273866 Share on other sites
