But when you have a staker it is in the dash, so you can't add it later. You will have to replace it with a 6 staker unit,

I bought my ute with the poor mans sound system... it was in the yard ready for me to take delivery... I was asked If I want to upgrade the sound system for $600... I told em no.... Stuffs me... I may be wrong

It probably wouldn't be too hard for them to replace the unit with the 6-stacker, but as it would require replacing the whole ICC, it would probably cost big $$$$$.

JVC has a solution to you prroblem. I have a single CD player also and I had a JVC 12 CD stacker fitted. If you look around, the retail price will be around $350-400. The stacker is fitted under the front passenger seat and the control unit is mounted in the dash where the tissue box holder is. The unit plays through your standard radio on an FM signal. You just tune one of your "channels" to it. Sounds great! Tell me if you want some piccies sent to you

I now have the capability to play 13 discs including the standard unit

BTW, I forgot to mention that the JVC stacker-unit I spoke about before also plays MP3's and even has a separate remote control as well as the dash-mounted controller

stackers are in the past man...

one word - mp3player

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

not really, if you have a good quality sound system mp3's will sound like sh*t. I spent $4000 on mine, and there is a world of difference between mp3 disks and proper cd's. having said that, I think that the stereo in the falcons definately needs to support the mp3 format, even they hyundai's come with stereos that play them.
