That's effectively $700 for the tune.Have you rung HPF and tried them. I thought a tune was around $300, but maybe I'm off the mark.Makes my Edit and Custom HPF tune @ $1297 a bargain. I don't know why ppl judge the cost of things by the time it takes to complete. Behind the scenes, it's a whole nother story.. People run businesses to make money, just like ppl go to work, to make other ppl money (unless u don't have a boss ) it's a cycle.. We live with it..And there are other places to get your car tuned.. No need to charge that much.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>beleive it or not when you factor in overheads it don't leave much!you all wan't to go to a nice clean workshop with all the latest equipment to do the job right! yeah!well it costs heaps for this!eg:rent $2500 p/mdyno payments $2000+ p/mwages $10,000 p/melectricity$500 p/mphone $500 p/mand the list goe's on and on but with just these its $15,500 outgoings before you open the doors!and he has 2 dyno's etc!don't begrudge some one there living!$700 is fair for r&d plus time taken to do it right!and yes its true some charge $3-500 for custom tunes but that's up to the individual to choose who they feel most comfortable with!!!
