I have talked to the ford tec and then to some tyre ppl and I am getting different storys. I would like to know from you guys/gals what kind of pressure you are running in your xr's. The tyre type are Dunlop SP9000 size 245/40 R18. Cheers Gavin

I run mine at 38 psi all round. This was the general concensus of the mojority who responded to the last thread. The tyre shop agreed that this is optimum. Anywhere between 36-40 psi is good. BTW I have 18'' aswell.

Benny Member 1,869 Member For: 21y 3m 4d Gender: Male Location: Newcastle Posted 06/07/05 02:41 AM Share Posted 06/07/05 02:41 AM I'm running 41 in the front and 37/38 in the rear. You need a higher pressure in the front to combat tyre roll and wear on corners. I run lower in the rear because at 41 they are difficult to get traction when launching.
