I believe the V8 Supercars use DSC2500's.

Either way they are a far superior pad to the Ultimates, don't know anything about the RB74's so can't comment on that.

They also sell the DSC2500's with AP Racing brake packages (big 4pot and 6pot calipers), and also as Brembo replacments.

If you can find a way to get the DSC2500's to fit in the premium caliper please let me know. The last I heard they had to be specially cut.

I run the 2500's in my 6 pot AP's...

Fantastic brakes, but ultra dusty.

So far (2,500km) the Metal Kings have not made a squeel.

How did you guys do it? I do not believe you can drive any harder than I do on the road, so am interested to know how you could blank your premium discs!

I had to change the front premium rotors at about 10,500. Pads were almost metal on metal around 4000km's later. I reckon I could easily drive it harder :spoton:

MissT had her fronts replaced @ 30K !!!! Eliptic groove still evident but the Ford techs (30K service ) said they were now undersize !!! I don't drive all that hard (auto) and had one track day at Mallala but they were apparantly rooted.

new DBA 4000 + Ultimates are fantastic and far cheaper than OEM. Pads could be a little hard for general mororing so I'm watchiing the rotor wear like a hawk ( or is that Falc ). The other day I came down the freeway (Adelaideans know it is a serious test for brakes) and as I pulled up in the 60 zone I nearly smacked my head on the wheel. ;-)
