With different injectors the duty cycle change will affect the fuel consumption figures but the injector duty cycle is not tied to the range to empty calculations and my figure of 9 ish on highway and 14.2l/100km around town are based upon actual fuel used vs mileage undertaken which confirmed the 32% error in the dash figures due to higher capacity injectors with Phase II.

I think the the DTE figure would have to be tied to the L/100 figure. How else would it determine the km's you can travel on the amount of fuel you have in the tank. The consumption data has to come from somewhere to calculate the DTE.

about 550 per/tank running on cruise control,

City about 15l/100km

I bought mine from s/h from Sydney, and I suspect it had very little highway use.

For about the first 3 tankfulls I could do no better than 14l/100km.

A few long runs, and it seemed to settle down.

I get about 450km 100% city driving,

on the highway I get 700km 100% highway driving

However if I want to teach a few holdens a lesson  it drops to about 400km in city driving.

yep - youre right tbearz - pic was just to help reinforce my point...

A manual calc on a round highway trip of 660klm and a refill of

50.5litres.... according to my calcs is around 7.6 litres per 100klm...

sure beats the 14.4 it used to chew...
