SOON2BXR6T Member 78 Member For: 21y 6m 20d Location: Adelaide Posted 30/06/05 02:15 PM Share Posted 30/06/05 02:15 PM Guys, been spending alot of time thinking about what to get next after the T.Been tossing up Liberty GT, Liberty R-B, 6 MPS (if its any good) or another T.If I got another T I would option it up somewhat (only got Prem sound on this one) with lux pack and possibly 18's, brakes and sunroof etc. When I used the online configurator I got it up to $58202 without the sunroof...So I figure - not far off the price of the Typhoon! So what price can Joe Bloggs off the street expect to pay for a Typhoon?? (I got $5K off the rrp of my first T).What do you guys pay for insurance? Got a quote for $1681 through RAA (paid $692 for the T) What did you pay if you had a T before (so I can compare). How much petrol are you using? (and how did you do if you had a T before?) Thanks in advance SOON2BF6 (maybe!)

They are a great saving and they are run in hard and fast just the way they should be. As far as fuel consumption goes I dont think there is much difference to the T, if u thrash it prepare to watch the consumption go up but if your easy on the right foot good milege is never a problem

You can bet that if (will) it is 6sp auto, this would be a better choice over the manual. You will also have new choices like the Evo9/MPS/6lt SS etc. There are many new and interesting models being released at the end of the year. I was going to get XR6T or XR8 .. after thinking about more by the time u upgrade them u are at the price of a Typhoon..But with the Typhoon the resale will be must better than a XR6T or 8 there are way more of them on the road and the phoon's are more limited in production so the resale should be good..plus by the time ya sell it every "P" plater is going to want it ..that's my 2c
