Who's up for a cruise on Sunday, July 3rd, 2005?

This one is in 6 stages and each has it's own charms.

Stages 2-5 cover some very narrow, windy roads, so be warned ... you may regret your decision to bring the ankle-biters along on this one.

For those who want to leave from Mt Annan, I plan to be away from Woolies car park at 10.30 sharp. :spit:

Stage 1 is pretty boring, down the Humourless to the Mittagong/Bowral turnoff. Maybe we could use this time to converse on the CB's about politics, humanity, religion, current affairs, etc., or maybe we could do the usual and you guys could just shovel heaps of sh*t on me for about an hour? :spit:

Stage 2 takes us toward the Cambewarra Mountain Lookout over some interesting back roads. Narrow roads means care is advised. Have your cameras ready for this one, as the views are spectactular. 30 mins (or so) and we'll hit the road again. :spoton:

Stage 3 takes us to Berry for lunch. Again, some good, windy roads and just a few obstacles, e.g., over-hanging branches and vines. Berry has many places to eat, but we checked out B bop's of Berry and were happy with the prices and quality. An hour should be enough to eat and relax, then back to it!

Stage 4 and we're heading back to Robinson for afternoon tea at the best Pie Shop on the planet. Good chance to fill the kiddies tummies once more for the up-coming windy stage 5.

Stage 5 takes us back to Bowral on an interesting Tourist Drive.

Stage 6 sees us back on the Humourless and no doubt, more intellectual conversation on various current topics.

Although I can't tell you exactly how far, I can warn you that it will be a long drive we will cover quite a few k's. Full tanks at the start is a good plan. We should use the "usual" CB chanel, if you don't know what that is we'll let you know on the day.

... so, who's in? :spit:

Sorry mate, don't think your going to make it by 4:30.

We'll probably only be at the Pie Shop at Robinson by 3:00-3:30 ... hard to tell timing with a couple of stops here and there, schedules tend to go out the windows. :spoton:
