I have been taking my car back to get work done to it for the last 3 days and every time I got to pick it up they manage to f*ck something else up!!

It all started on Friday when I dropped my car in to get the Climate Control fixed because it stopped working at the best time of year (heavy rain and no front window demister = can't see out the f*cking windows). The car was there all day, dropped it in before 8am and they call me at 1pm to tell me they cant get the part and I could leave the car there for the weekend with no loan car or I could have it back like it is. I elected to pick the car up because I needed a car for the weekend etc and did not take much notice of what was done. But what I did notice is that after picking it up the steering wheel audio buttons were no longer working.

Back on Monday the car goes for the new climate control part (computer) and when I go to pick it up at 5pm on Monday after work I get more good news. This time when the idiot who was working on was putting it back together managed to break clips in the dash that hold the glove box in and also the audio buttons were not fixed. I was pretty pissed of at that stage and had no other choice but to bring the car back the following morning again for them to have another go at f*cking more things up!! When I got in the car on Monday afternoon first thing I noticed was part of the dash looked like it was put together by a blind person because there was a bit of trim just sticking out. I though great, I'll have to tell them about that too now. I put the car into reverse and drive back, pull the selector into drive and I thought I snapped the selector of from the plastic crunch I just heard!! At this stage the heating was turned off because I was starting to boil over. Next thing I turn the stereo on and a CD is missing out of my stacker!!! I then stopped and went and spoke to the service advisor and told him the story and got the usual bull$hit response I was expecting, "I will speak to the mechanic who was working on your car".

Dropped the car off this morning at 8am and same story picked it up after having to wait for it to be finished after 5pm. They are claiming that there was no CD's taken out of the car, when for a fact I know there were 6 CDs in the stacker as there have always been for the last 6 months or so (the taken CD was part of a 2 CD album that I bout a few months ago and since what them in slot 1 and 2). I left it at that because I needed to get home and had no more time to waste with them. Then driving home I notice the gear selector light has not been put back in place and is not illuminating the letters as it should be! Bloody great!

I am a bit pissed of at the moment and I can’t be stuffed any more. I thought that I was getting good service up until the last few days. I have had a similar experience there in the past and did not thing much of it. But now to me it is evident that who ever had worked on my car just did not give a t*ss and took no care when working on it! What a bunch of incompetent idiots!!

I am also pissed off because of the fact that my personal property was taken from my car. I am not so worried about the $20 CD but it’s a principle thing. Why the hell would you take things out of peoples cars? There was also another item that was taking but it not worth mentioning, but again it’s just a principle thing!! WHY???

I now have to take the car back again for them to fix their own faults! Also both the dealer principle and service manager will be getting a nice letter as will Ford Customer Care (who probably will not give a flying f*ck).

At the moment I hate my car (even though it’s not the car fault) and I am running out of patience with Ford! I take back all the good things I have said about CHALLANGER FORD ROCKINGHAM in the past!

:spoton:

PS. I feel a little better now!

I hear ya!!

It's just not good enough!!

I've completely given up on my car. I put petrol in it, drive it and don't care for it anymore. As soon as the time is up on this car it's goooone!

Alot of people know the storey with my car, and after it appeared in the Sydney weekend paper Ford CRC sent me a FPV Racing jacket. That made me happy NOT! Nice try Ford, but when the car gets traded in the jacket will be on the back seat.

Ford have no respect for your property or your time, good luck with your car and your letters.

I am always worried when the service gimps touch my car. everytime I get any warranty work done, I expect one of 2 things.

Either they will find no "problem" and say its normal or they will fix the problem and break something in the process of fixing the car.

It is pathetic when you get your car fixed only to find the cure has caused more problems.

I would be hitting them up for a loan car and also mention time lost, expences and agrivation.

I do not know why Ford Service SUCKS so bad. I know now why Ford advertise their Ford service so much, its because every new Ford car owner know how bad they are for service, so they are trying to advertise to get the people who have not been Frauded by Ford service yet.

SHAME FORD, all the advertising about how well you know our cars, does not make you any better in our eyes.

I know exactly what everybody is going on about when talking about how crap Ford is.

Me, well you may know already but 4 months with a problem then blaming it on my after market suspension then I find out that its a loose pipe that Ford caused.

I hear you mate

Ford need to get there act it to gear and stop making slapped together cars before nobody will by them its all about quality something ford has forgotten.

I often wonder how much ford spend on getting dealers to fix all these warranty issues when maybe 80% of things could have been fixed in the factory.

my car alone,

gearbox $5000

cluches x2 $500

throttle bodys x2 $300

3 days at the body works $250

new door rubbers x2 $150

accelerator assembley $100

accelerator petechiometers x3 $150

bonnet release cable $20

16 litres of burnt oil $80

------------------------------------

$6450 plus 10 reflashes

And all the man hours to fit all this stuff that in my opinion could have been fixed at the factory.

I wonder if we pay for all of this in the price of the car :tease:

Hey Guys, check this out... My daughters boyfriend is an apprentice at a ford dealer here in Adelaide and was laughing about some of the fun they have when test driving the cars after service.

Had a laugh about the burn outs and the odd flogging and then I asked him which dealer he worked at and u guessed it, it was the same that I get my car serviced at!..little bas*ard. He would have to work for 2 weeks before he could relace one of the 18's on my car.

Made him squirm heaps when I told him ...

I thought they were good but after this I will never be going back there again! Ever!

Also because they pulled the dash apart so many times in the last few days, I have just noticed today that there are scratches and marks on various bits of the dash trim. I will not be taking it back to get this replaced or fixed because god knows that else they will break in the process. Or they may even deny it just like they denied stealing stuff out of my car!

Waiting around at about 5pm to pick my car up I got to see some of the "mechanics" leaving the workshop, and lets just say that they looked be a very classy bunch! It's a shame because I really like my car but will not put up with this kind of service. I was going to extend the factory warranty for peace of mind as I intended to keep the car for a while, but after this saga they will not get another cent out of me and the car will be gone before the NWC expires!

At the end of it all it’s just plain and simple that they just don't care. No point having the service advisor telling bull$hit stories to make you feel better when out the back you car, which you paid good money for is treated with no respect at all time after time!!!

Not good enough!
