Ford told me its just the plates on the brakes or something and that it was normal. Last night I rotated my tyres and had a quick check of things are OK. I shook the brake hose and what do you know, that dreded same rattling noise. It was vibrating on the bracket that holds the hose, silly thing is though the clamp on the hose is metal and so is the bracket and it was loose. Both sides aswell. A quick fix with a cable tie solved the problem.....one and a half years later.
