Great to see the F6's finally starting to have their day :spoton:

Why is it that all the mags are at least .5sec off the pace :spoton:

Slightly off topic but is it fair to say that manuals are quicker than auto's to 100klm ?, just trying to draw a comparison against a modded auto T.

It would appear they are quicker.

Badxr6 can get his manual T rocking to 100 in 4.42 from memory.

Craig will get about 4 seconds flat on hit nittos.

I don't reckon that's any faster than my ute with edit? Maybe even slower, mine just expodes between 3500 and 5500, mostly in wheels spin, and the clutchslips in 3rd. Tornado didn't even spin the wheels?

Top video anyway mate.

Why would it be quicker than you’re your edited Ute?

From what I read it’s a dead stock with just an edit so nothing fancy and probably is close to being on par with an edited XR6T…

Brand new 18” Dunlop sports and the live axle with a hard cover adding weight with a good driver should be able to launch without massive wheel spin, although I can assure you can make it sit there and smoke if you like but I don’t think that was the idea somehow and I doubt you will see the F6 clutch slip until its taken to at least 400~500rwkws.

The idea is the F6 doesn’t need a new Gbox and clutch when edited unlike the XR’s which can’t handle the extra kw’s without breaking things.

Great Video mate and I suspect we shall see more like it soon?

interesting comments there yoot, He was actualy racing another car so why would he want wheel spin?? Wheel spin isnt always an indication of power, roads and tyres all play a huge part in wheel spin. My XR6T has around the 270 rwkw mark with an auto, it had 18 inch with dunlop 3000's and leaving it in drive and just flooring it, it would sit on the limiter all through first and second no brake, Put some 19's on it and it just does it in first now and bites into second and takes off.

Either way, the car he raced has got 278 rwkw's and 640 nm at the tyres. The ran side by side. SO unless your ute is the freakiest thing if ever seen then you might be a little mistaken mate :)

Yes yes, I have another vid of first going up in smoke, with second following. That was on new shiny crappy roads. This vid was done on sticky blacktop, and as F6 said, brand new 18" 245 dunlops.

I'll take off the 70kg hardcover, then we'll see the 0-100 rise..

I'll do another compression of the same vid, leaving the sound alone, u can hear it spin 2nd ( just look at the tack @ 80kph ) and chirps 3rd. Like F6 said, it aint clutch slip... oh, I have chirped 4th on bumpy roads!!

@ F6, there's a track day at Waneroo begging on the 19th July I got an invite to.... might get a touch more vision of a big red barge struggling for brakes............

Roll on injectors...

Mine has the hard lid and two steel dividers in the back, weighs 1920kg without the steel dividers and me in it, can can its just next snapping when 10psi comes on, and the phoon only peaks at 9 not maintained all the way like the edit.

Still, my clutch slips and its just nuts compared to that, that looks more like my car stock. I will make a vid and show you what I am talking about.

As for speed, I have to maintain only 1/2 throttle 1st and 3/4 2nd and hope to hell there are no bumps or its all over for wheel spin. I stomped an LS2 Senator (auto) 10 days ago during the day the second week I had the edit, and he was mightly impressed. I owned it through the gears and was still in front over 100kmh and pulling away, at the next lights he took his hat off to me!
