Today I had my XR6T lowered with SL King Springs all round. Can anyone tell me if and how much more it is likely to drop in the next few weeks. The thing looks a bit lower than it did this morning and is stiffer, but I hope it will drop some more (esp' the back).

Oh, and I cant get out of the driveway at work without the front hitting the road

Doesn't look much lower...

SSL's rear and SL's front otherwise the front will catch everything.

The Kings once settled should not drop anymore.

He didnt even ask me if I wanted SSL's. I didnt know they existed. Looks like I'll have to save up and get SSL's put in the back. Bloody hell! :nono:

Is it expensive to get the lowering done? how does it go with say like shopping centre speed bumps etc??

Mate, JB is right you want SSL back and SL front. I am sure I mentioned that to you in the PM I sent to you, plus its in my sig too.

If you got SSL in the back it would be about 15mm lower at the back. I have had mine on for 5 months now and they are good, give them about 1000km to settle in and they will drop a bit more. Mine went down about 5mm.

Depending on where you are and the deal you get you should pay not more the $380-$240 for supply and fit of springs with front wheel alignment.

Speed bumps are fine as long are you slow down for them and take a bit of care. Also steep driveways are ok as long as you go up and down on an angle.

But if you are rough as guts you will be scraping on everything! :glad:
