I hear where you're coming from though, I still remember all the seemingly painful and repetitive advice I got when I was that age too. Hard to believe, but trust me, the silly old buggers were right!!

Work in IT2. Inherrentance or rich parents3. Drug dealers.I would suspect option 1 for most of our young T drivers

If your lucky you can have both (most of us arent)...in My younger days I could of blown my money on a nice car and worked hard to pay it off over the loan period... instead at age 17 I decided to go overseas and spend time abroad... I travelled until I had no more money.. I then came back and worked for another year and went overseas again... I did this until I was 26. At 26 I had nothing to show for it but I had a bloody good time too diffrent strokes for diffrent folks good on the youngies for going for a nice car. Better then p1ssing your money up against the wall

We must be talking about $1000 / month repayments on a T aren't we even with Ballon repayment at the end? Plus insurance.. Didn't I just see someone say $4k / year ? Just because you may not have been in the same position at that age do not automatically assume everyone else is in the same boat.I would have bought a T at 19 if they were around, as I could have easily afforded it (more so than now!) through busting my ass and working hard. Give the guys a break.I think Dallas has hit the nail right on the head. Trent.
