It happens most times when im leaving my local servo after filling up. There is no way my wheels would be loosing traction at this speed. The T/C light comes on and the car starts to fart for about 1-3 seconds then its back to normal. Hopefully your dealer will be able to find the prob, I already told mine about it last time the car was in and they reckon they couldnt replicate it.. Mercurial Member 47 Member For: 21y 9m 6d Posted 20/06/05 08:52 AM Share Posted 20/06/05 08:52 AM I'm no expert guys, but could the problem be with the LSD?If the LSD wasn't working properly, and acting like a 'Locked' diff, then even at slow speeds the inside wheel may spin and chirp like I've seen drag cars do whilst turning ? raymondo Member 28 Member For: 19y 9m 4d Posted 30/06/05 10:27 AM Author Share Posted 30/06/05 10:27 AM Just an update on my cars farting problems..It took it into ford last Friday. Left it for the day and the travelling engineer from ford said that he thinks it is a tyre problem...so they swapped the back wheels.I drove out of the ford dealership, and the car just farted again around bends at slow speeds...so it went back.Tomorrow it is in again (must be getting cloise to 50 visits back to ford now) and they are going to replace the ABS.To all the people that have given me hints etc...cheers...I passed these on to Ford, but they discounted most of them....but then again they cannot seem to fix it.I will update after 2morrow as to whether the replacement ABS fixes it.Raymondo

CountryPhoon<{POST_SNAPBACK}>No it won't create any issues with traction control. The only thing that I find is the traction control can't hold the car back as well as it did when it was standard. Guest bnharves Guests Posted 01/07/05 02:40 AM Share Posted 01/07/05 02:40 AM hi, I recon its a good chance of being your traction control. You say it only usually happens around tight corners. This causes the outside wheel to do more revolutions than the inside wheel. This could be setting off the traction control thinking the the wheel is spinning when its actually not. Just my thoughts.Harves
raymondo Member 28 Member For: 19y 9m 4d Posted 09/07/05 06:41 AM Author Share Posted 09/07/05 06:41 AM Hi all,The saga continues, the car went in last week (jefferson ford sth melb) & they replaced the traction control & abs....but no luckThen yesterday it went again...they replaced the speed sensors and the computer.....but no luck.Jefferson Ford are now back to scratch and cannot solve it. They are now trying to get the Ford Engineer guru out AGAIN to look at it to solve....hopefully he doesn't just change the tyres like he did last time. The only good news of this story is that Ford do recognise it is a problem,.....but they just can't seem to fix it....just need to fix before my warranty runs out in April next year.Does ANYONE know of a place I could take it to in Melbourne that would be able to solve it ???...that is, they know the xr6 turbo inside out !Any help appreciated.CheersRAY
