You guys are very sensitive about this aren't you.

As to the exclusivity, the bonnet is on the XR-8, GT, GT-P and Pursuit Ute, to be precise. :D

Now come on - you are twisting words - the bulge represents a V8 is the point ..... and you can add Mustang Cobra to your list (to be precise!)

And we are not that sensitive about it - just giving you the advice you asked for!! At the end of the day you can do what you like and we won't tell you you're a dic*head - most of us would actually like to see a picture of what you've done!!

Me thinks you are the one who is sensitive about it .......... :D :D

I don't know, I kinda like the idea of having an XR-6 Turbo pretending to be slower than it actually is!

Nah no sensitivity here, my ego doesn't need stroking by the kind of car I drive.

Making your car look like a V8 won't make it look slow to anyone on the roads!!

If you want to surprise people to the power of the Turbo, then just take the badges off your car (before someone else does anyway). :)

I think we ARE saying it's your own choice to modify your car - but the specific question was asked about peoples opinions on this particular modification ...... and it is being answered ..... no one is calling anyone a dic#head .... just responding to the question!!

Seems to me all would be ok if we all (sorry around 70% of us) just said 'yeah, that would look great!' instead of responding with 'our opinion' ... as you say .... each to their own - doesn't that count for opinions as well??

IMTRBO - this thread actually reminded me of yours where you asked for peoples opinions on your number plate. When you ask a question you have to be prepared for answers/opinions both positive and negative!!

Would you have liked it if we all said it was great but thought it was $hit??? No way!!

It's good that we all don't agree - c'mon guys .. no one should take it personally!! :D

IMTRBO - PS: Are you going to have your beast in time for the Melb. cruise on the 25th??
