Old Post I know,, but I just happened upon it by accident. Don't know what Ford are like now but just so u know,,,

"Back in the day" my brother bought a brand spanking new ba xr6T in 2003 that came straight from the factory fitted with the lumpy xr8 bonnet, sunroof, xr8 18" wheels & it was fully optioned with everything else you could fit in it. Cost him a fortune.

Wish it was still around now because it was a ripper of a car.

In those days if you Pressured the salesman & paid them enough money,,, then they would pretty much give you anything you asked for, within reason....Ford don't advertise this fact.

Im getting an xr8 bonnet shortly to go on my xr6 turbo. I couldn't give a f*ck what anybody else thinks about it either, if someone doesnt like it that's there problem

First mod I did was the xr8 bonnet. Each to their own

I been in a GT and you cant see anything in front of you. it obstructs the view so much, it put me off getting this mod done.

This was one of the mods on my list. no more.

Yeah I'm with Marco.

After driving Stigmatas weapon with the bonnet bulge and then getting back into mine, I like the extra view......not saying I wouldn't get used to it after a while though
