I just thought I'd get a little feed back on an idea that has been floating around in my head for awhile. I'm thinking of selling my car and doing another. I'm thinking of getting an XR8 and supercharging it. I've done more than I could have ever dreamed in my T and am thinking of new targets to aim for. I'd only do it if the price I got for my car would cover the purchase and build costs of the new project. This may not be possible. My car has got some great plusses that people may be prepared to pay a premium for, or maybe not.

What does everyone think.

What are you thinking off, you have the quickest privately owned street xr6t in australia and you want to sell it. And then to get nasty you want to buy a XR8 are you kidding.

Seriously up to you ,ate teh only thing I like about the xr8 is the bulge and the exhaust note.

Goodl Luck with your new endeavour if you go ahead.

Geea,

I would say "why not" nothing like a new challenge! If what you've done with your T is any indication, it would be great to see what you could squeeze out of an 8. What would you need to get for yours to make it a viable option?

I see what your trying to do mate, you want more records..!!! Just as having Australia's fastest T is not enough, your going to do it an a XR8 ASWELL

Nothing beats that grunty V8 burble ... but aslo nothing beats the weight issue on the Boss :gooff: Its a hard one but if I was you I will keep the T and get some more out of her, you have gone this far with it, so finish it off in style.

my 2 cents

I say go for it Craig! If you can get what you want for Rumble you've got nothing to lose (except owning Oz's fastest privately owned T!) :gooff:

A change is as good as a holiday!

I'd think that if I got around $55k for mine I would be able to do it. I know that 2nd hand T's similar to mine are going for around $35K so it would depend on if anyone thinks what my car ahs had done to it and what it is capable of doing is worth an extra $20k.

I'm in a pretty good position, if someone wants to buy my car for the right price I can start a new project. If everyone decides my car is not woth that money I get stuck with the quickest BA in the country. I'm a winner either way I think.

I'd keep the T for a little longer yet, fastest in OZ is a pretty cool thing to be able to say :gooff: , and with the work you put into it you may not be able to get as much as you'd hope (I'd hate to see the work go out the window \ you not getting as much as you should)...

Just my 2c, BTW that said I'd love to see what you can do to the XR8...
