To the point that I am Extremely happy with the performance!! Can this be a fix, or does the car eventually learn not to back off even with the switch connected??I will reconnect it and see if it make a difference tomorrow!!Has this topic already been covered?? In fear of sounding like a wa*ker..I must say that I F&*^ing love driving this car!!Cheers

Maybe, you are just experiencing a slow change - and loss of boost? though - it shouldnt be affected by clutch switch I guess. Posted 08/06/05 10:04 PM Share Posted 08/06/05 10:04 PM The latest motor issue seems to agree that this is definately something electronic, or at least appears to be.... Why not pull a couple of plug leads off - that would save the clutch, gearbox and diff!TurboCorty - maybe you will have to market your mod to Typhoon owners, what do you think its worth? In fear of sounding like a wa*ker..I must say that I F&*^ing love driving this car!!Cheers I still have this with mine and it's even more prominent now running higher boost. The way I would describe this is:- 2nd gear WOT- clutch in, change to 3rd and WOT- the gear engages, the revs start to climb BUT very little torque/push in the back.- a second or so ticks by and BOOM. The torque returns and the revs start to climb faster.Does this accurately describe what you are experiencing? It appears to have nothing to do with traction control as it does the same thing whether TC is on or off (mine is almost always off). More likely, this is software related delay to protect the gearbox (torque tag?). I'm still running the generic 10PSI map rather than custom tune so this may be the reason. The only other factor I can think of is that the car has to spool up boost again, but I haven't heard too many other complaining about this phenomenon... Hazey Member 234 Member For: 21y 5m 21d Posted 08/06/05 11:43 PM Share Posted 08/06/05 11:43 PM I too have this delay/lag being mentioned. I find if I do quicker shifts including the footwork part it does not occur (the ones that sometimes result in chirps)This leads me to believe its the driving style causing it. The timing of your clutch and accelerator replacement.I'm confused now.. as I can remember it happening when changing quickly too.Maybe its footwork consistency Aidan
