Pedals In Ba Falcons

G'day fellas,

I have found that ever since I have taken ownership of my XR6T, I have been getting a sore right ankle due to the new layout of the pedals, I have big feet (size 12) and always find myself having to maneuvre my right foot to make up for the little room between the throttle and the abnormally large brake pedal...

Is there anyway I could rectify this, it almost seems as though the brake pedal is much to high in relation to the throttle pedal and when I apply the brakes its like my foot is on a big angle almost ready to slip of the pedal onto the floor rather then resting flat on the pedal. Why did ford go and play around with a previously fine pedal layout??? (I never had this problem in my EB Falcon)

I have size 14's....and dont seem to have that problem.........but I have found adjusting the seat height will also change the angle of your ankle too.

No problems here size 13 feet.

Ok ok, this is not a comparison of shoe sizes now, I really do think Ford have made a big mistake with the new layout of the pedals, steering wheel alignment with the dash etc. I have never witnessed a sore ankle due to driving ANY car before until now... But anyway...

Oh while I am here, I have brake shudder (4th Machining coming up I take it, but have heard rumours of "revised brake pads" being fitted to cars... Do you guys think I have a right to demand new brake rotors? since obviously the wrong type of brake pad was fitted in the first place?
