Would just like someone to give me an answer to the following, just got some new AMG 19" wheels today anyway had a VN wanting to have some fun at the lights tonight so like a good Ford man I obliged, waste of petrol wasnt a contest.

But what I noticed was when I looked at the speedo I was doing 130klm sure didnt feel like it felt like about 120klm.

Does anyone know if bigger wheels make a difference to your speedo reading and if so how do you get it corrected.

No answer yet ... but some questions for you. Do the wheels have tyres fitted? If so what size are the tyres? Also what wheels/tyres did you have before the change? What revs was your engine doing at 100km/h in top gear with the original wheels and tyres? What revs is it doing now? See where we're heading yet?

I've found that with the factory 17's the speedo reads under, 97/100. With the 19's (275/35/19) its 100-101/100. Hope this helps.

That's exactly what I found by checking with GPS. I was going to get it reset by Ford to 18inch rims which would make it closer, but it's not needed. :kissmy:
