I think an Apple has far better rolling resistance properties and so should spank a Pineapple in a straight line, Go around some corners though and Apple won't be able to keep up as the Pineapple has far superior traction.

As for the diffenence in price, if I bought an Apple for 60c a kg and then modded it with the 45c a kg I saved on the price of the Pineapple, the Apple would kick it's arse mate end of story.

But Mate

Just mate because mate I own an apple, mate it doesnt mean mate that I can't afford a Pineapple mate.

In fact, the average orchard round here to park my apple in is probably worth three or four pineapples mate...

Pineapples are sold by unit, not by kilo. So they are an inferior product to begin with. How so? Who cares, they just are, ok!

Would it be fair to compare a canteloup to a pineapple, one of those mega expensive bethonga gold pinapples. They are about the same price and size.

I think that the Apple is far more versatile than the Pineapple, It can be:

- In an apple pie, good with ice cream

- In a drink (in fact most orange drinks have heaps of apple in them in NZ)

- Eaten by itself (weird)

- In a paste form spread over other foods

- In a number of yummy pastry thingies

hmmm?

Yes, but you can't put some apple in a hamburger... This is by far a better feature than all the above mentioned... All the latest fruit wish to have this feature, its the latest thing.....

MMMM That would be correct, but the tomato has been doing what the pineapple has done for so much longer and

* it can be a sauce

* flavors so many of our differnent foods

* tastes great with ham and cheese

* is a good thing to throw at people when really soft and ripe

* is also a juice

* is more versitile than double jointed porn star

* is a staple for almost any sandwhich you car to mention

guys I think you all need to grow up

I just happened to stubble upon this thread through Google

and was appaled with what I read

how many of you boof heads actually know anything about skylines

not just what you have heard from your mates mate that thinks he knows about cars

I highly rate the New XR6 turbo

but you really need to understand that all this "outstanding performance and technology" that has come about in the last year or two

Nissan actually did in 1989, actually that was only the GTR but before that in the early 80's the humble FJ20 turbo (4 cyl) was nissans first turbo performance engine

I think that you would be probably be better off comparing maybe a r32 GTs-t a 2 litre (yes a 2ltr) which is now 15 years old

in terms of bang for buck a skyline will walk away every time

and those that have "claimed " to have beaten a "GTR" in a slightly modded XR6 turbo need to wake up to themselves

these cars absolutly stock produce arund 190kw at all four wheels

with just a exhaust upgrade they make 230kw at all four

I think all these talkers need to come down to WSID for street meets on wen nights

id love to see you hand to the GTR's I really would but I just dont see it happening
