just took my rear muffler on my ute off to so its all straight through and dumped out of the 2 pipes just before the diff. sounds terrible on idle, like a rally car haha. but the snap crackle pop is awesome! and yes its loud...haha. just need a bracket made because without the rear muffler theres nothing holding the rest of the exhaust up...

I have removed my rear muffler on my FG MKII Turbo. Replaced with straight 3"

Sounds the goods, much better than centre muffler removal imo. ZERO drone, nice idle, and under WOT is amazing

Back pressure isn't really necessary with a turbo. The less back pressure the better.

So would I actually, centre muffler takes out a piece in 3 inch section, rear takes out twin 2 1/4. Definite difference in sound I reckon!
