Had my rear removed last Thursday. Bolt in Bolt out section, twin 2.5" bcd to twin 3.5 straight cutoff tips.

The Good:

* sounds good at any part of the rev range

* super deep idle

*no more airy sh*t sound from the rolled tips

*Sounds like a suped up r35 skyline under boost!!

the Bad:

*cost $290 :o

*sounds a bit droney when its cold, that's it.

Manual fg ute, boys with the same I suggest you do it, sounds so much better I can actually hear the exhaust note now haha. get funny looks from people under WOT when I have the 4" air box too, like my own personal mini jet :) haha

maybe the airy sound I'm thinking of is what was mentioned above, chitty rolled tips?

Probably didn't notice it as much on my last T because I still had centre muffler so it wasn't as loud, plus it was tuned so I'd hear the spool more than anything

Yeh tips changed aswell. You could hear the tips pushing air back alot when it was cold and idling if you walked aeound the back of the car. Maybe it's just my mind telling me it's faster but I swear it feels not quicker just more lively now

yer the airy sound comes from the rolled tips, they are fkn sh*t. I changed mine recently to straight 3 inch ones. abit more sound and no more chocking airy sound. also sounds better too.

exhaust shop here supplied and fitted, about $100 from memory.

I had the muffler removed a couple of weeks before hand. they may have done a good deal for me I dont know.
