yeah the manual gearbox in essence is old technology and the ZF is the best I've driven in auto trim. Best of both worlds would be a sequential clutchless manual like the box they use in the v8 supercars or the touring cars but on a road, they're just no use.....yet ! DSG is getting close to great but they only come in stupidly prices Audi and VW's etc.

I love the manual, sure it's not the smoothest 6spd but strong. The auto is also fantastic daily driving auto . I would have one if I was to have another FG.

Love a sh*t stir though ! :buttonit:

More sound from exhaust helps with manual box driving. It's relevant to the subject and not totally off topic like a lot of other threads....

While we're gettin' off-topic farkin...

A significant amount of time is spent by moderators deleting the quotes out of posts where they are excessive or not at all necessary in order to keep threads tidy and easy to read/follow.

There is no need to quote the post directly above, it’s safe to assume that you will be on the same topic as the previous post.

Also there is no need to quote an entire post, just quote what is relevant and delete the rest.

The lessons.....

TO ADD NEW REPLY

AddReply.jpg (Appears after the last post on each page)

This will launch the Add Reply feature in a new window without quoting any prior posts.

The easiest option however is to use Fast Reply - right at the bottom of the page you should see this box...

FastReply.jpg

Just click in it and start typing. It only has limited functionality compared to the Add Reply feature, but if you need to access these advanced features you can also launch the New Reply window by clicking on “Use Full Editor” (this will carry over any text you’ve already entered)

TO QUOTE

Reply.jpg

This button automatically quotes the post adjacent to it, and opens a new reply window.

MultiQuote.jpg

This button allows you to select multiple posts to quote. Click this button next to each relevant post (it will change to a darker colour to signify the post is selected) then click on the New Reply button at the bottom of the page, you will then be presented with something similar to this in the new reply window.....
Text sample one

Text sample two
You then can enter your responses in the gaps.....
Text sample one
First response
Text sample two
Second Response

Which will give you.....

Text sample one

First response

Text sample two

Second Response

And that’s that!

Bomber, we might not even have a Falcon to buy soon, so a Late model camira may be genuinely the only "real" car in existence!

Hence we might all be driving Holdens unfortunately....or maybe just walk or catch the bus. Ha ha.
