Just do it mate, you won't regret spending the mere 100 bucks.

I mean its not like if you hate it you cant put the muffler back on =D

I had mine removed the other day and I am really happy with the result. I like the sound with the low revs but when you get the speed up a bit the note is nice and quiet. Well worth the money.

Hey guys,

My brother scored a XR6 T for a company car :+1: beats the p.o.s commodre he just gave back by a longshot!

Looking at doing just a couple of mods to it, as he doesnt own it he's quite restricted but im sure we can away with a few minor things.

Iv got a flash tuner on the way, just looking at removing a muffler aswell.

It would seem the way to go is the centre muffler, just wondering what the difference between centre and rear muffler is ?

Any help / opinons greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Chad.

I think for some reason if you remove the rear muffler it drones, I could be talkin out my ass, but I'm sure I heard someone say that once...

I think the main reason why the centre is removed is due to noise. Both Mufflers are quite restrictive. Also if you keep the rear muffler standard your less likely to give away modds.
