Centre Muffler Removal

Does doing this mod in a SEDAN with just straight through pipes(no hotdogs) drone more than a e-series 6cyl falcon with a 2.5" exhaust???

Oh and only say if you actually know and not just guess!!

I had a vt with a redback 2.5" cat back exhaust it was a auto and the drone pissed me off no end but with me xrt ute next to no drone and a rumble at the back to be proud of...

all I did was replace the middle muffler with straight through pipes but its now been a little while and I want a more crisp sound than what the stock rear puts out...

but after reading these posts I wanna change the cat out now too

Hey all,

Finally had my centre muffler removed today.

As trying to save money I just got it cut out and pipes welded in.

Happy to report no drone and the sound is sweet as.

Best $80 I've spent in a long time.

I tried to get this done, and they wanted to charge me 400$ for it.. just for straight through pipe, no hotdog

You're kidding.

I went in the other day,they put it on the hoist,had a look and told me the cost would be under $100.

Dropped it in this morning,all done a hour later and cost only $80.

Hey dude, I got this done lastweek too and I love it.

Had it done by a guy I know that builds all sorts of custom exhausts etc... He lives in Girrawheen and has just started his own company doing exhausts and pipework... Gave him $200 for stainless piping and took him a couple of hours... PM me if ya want his number.
