Eugene Member 670 Member For: 20y 4m 21d Gender: Male Location: Newcastle NSW Posted 14/11/04 09:22 AM Share Posted 14/11/04 09:22 AM I had mine done awhile ago, replaced with 2.5" mandrel bent, sound is good, but a bit of a drone up to 80kph and on trailing throttle etc around town, great on the highway etc.But, after looking at the rear muffler/resonator, (unsure which it is)this is where th big restriction is, it goes from 2.25" down to 2. inch, into the muffler, out at two inch, then up to 2.25, horrid, reverse joins and restrictive welds, etc. I have been told it goes down to 1.75" in the muffler, but I havnt seen so I cant say for sure. whatever way you look at it.Mine is going in to have it replaced with something that is 2.5 all the way through, and I am getting some dogs on at the same time, I am over the drone, sounds like awanna be racer with a VN sixpack Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
