I took the advice of the guy at the shop as well. I mentioned adding a hotdog and he was pretty quick to squash that idea. he was adamant that it wasnt required. I had a bit of a whinge as when the guy did it he didnt have my rear muffler braced properly and it now sags about 2 inches lower than it did from stock claiming that "this was as good as it could get as I have a towbar" I think they knew I was pissed off but I left work for a couple of hours to get it done and I was gone half the day so I really didnt have time to go on about it. he's reinstalling it for free. low rev acceleration is pretty unbearable hey.
