I wouldnt say less drone mate, what I would say manual is sounds much better between gear changes.

Autos with loud exhausts can sound really bad between shifts....much better in tiptronic mode though, still not to manual level.

I hated the sound of the centre out on cold-start up, but above 3k and warm its great - hotdogs do flatten/deepen the note considerably. Each to their own I guess.

Suggest trying to listen to someone who's done it first, it is an acquired taste. Putting in a hot dog/resonator would probably give a better sound.

Agree.

I have tried a few things. Swapped out the resonator last week for one of these http://www.ebay.com....=item5ae11e31f3 to create some more restriction and then hiflowed the cat it's a nice balance for me anyways.

Yeah. It's loud, sounds good inside. Hopefully quietens down a bit though.

Funny thing is I've been in FG's with 3.5, 4 and twin 3 inch systems and I honestly can't tell the difference.

Did you get a hotdog or straight pipes? Don't know how people can get straight pipes, hotdog is border line for me.

Also can't believe how much it pops and crackles now.. WTF!?
