Hmmm, I dunno man, sounds too tractorish at idle.

And that's one of the reasons why I put mine back to stock.

At full throttle it sounded awsome but rest of the time it was annoying.

Maybe I am just getting too old.........

lol zf :D

its just 2 bits of press bent 2.25" pipe cut in where the muffler was.

yeah it does burble alot and drone slightly but I love it... its alot quieter than my mates s14 with a full 3" and canon

Nice, another tick for the ZF for me then.

GO FOR IT DUDE! hahaha

just make sure u tell them to do it between the flanged section, that way if you dont like it then you can just buy someones old centre muffler section and bolt it back in... no risk at all man its definitely worth it..

I was in the exact same boat about getting it done.. it makes these cars growl

So you did yours from flange to flange??? as in 2.25" all the way or did you just remove the resinator and fill the gap with 2.25"?

If you want to go one step futher for a lethal deep growl, get them to weld in a free flow sports muffler and get rid of the cheap rear muffler. :3gears:

The bassyness/drone does get louder inside the cabin but sounds much better from the outside. I'll see if I can upload a vid under the same conditions (inside/outside of car) of a friends centre muffler removed car and my centre muffler removed + sports muffler in the next few days. :ermm:
