Whilst it'd be interesting to know, there's no way I'd (have the balls to :msm: ) do it, nor would I condone anyone else trying it unless they're on a racetrack, runway, private road, etc. :msm:

But, if you're gonna be the man no matter what we think or say, then good luck to you! :msm:

And, as the others have said, please be careful, eh? I wanna hear how fast the T went from you!! ;)

I think it will get too scary and uncontrolable at 250km/h. It feels bad enough at 230!

I find this statement odd. At 230 km/h I can take my hands off the steering wheel as it is just so smooth and well poised on the road.

It doesnt shake, vibrate, feel light, or boaty Just well poised and sure footed.

I doubt the fact that I have 18s makes any difference, but its worth a mention.

250 here constant for 35 minutes in the NT last month..... No probs... Still approx. 700 rpm left before rev limiter.... High road temp was why I pushed no further, but it was there.

Car felt confident and smooth...... No beer changes, I mean gear changes at that speed.

THIS Is something I've been thinking about for a while....The extra torque should push to at least 270.....

Blonk, should have pushed it the rest of the way, like, its only another 20 kph

Plus the EDIT gives you till 6500rpm... Which is more than enough room to make sure you crap yourself....

I ran my ute out to the limiter a few weeks back, two in the car, half a load in the back, about 200kg, sat a steady as a rock, ran till an indicated 240kph, felt great.

it didnt take too long to get there either, but with 293 out the back, it would be expected.

the teanue cover was very streched when I got home.
