I noticed they have changed them just lately as a late 05 XR6 I was sitting in had no Ford logo on them and they seem to look smaller...If you want a set just go onto Ebay.. u can pick them up for about 150. Finally got there in the end.
TRELO Member 21 Member For: 20y 2d Location: Merrylands , Sydney Posted 08/06/05 08:11 AM Share Posted 08/06/05 08:11 AM Why do you have to drill through? As the ones I recived have a tight rubber edging to go around existing pedal .It was hard enough to get over the pedal but once on I tried to move it to see if would come off nothing ,didnt move at all.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Because it's the law. They must be secured and not just slipped over the pedal. It may not move now, but when the rubber ages a bit and softens up you might go for the pedal one day and find yourself pushing the floor instead. There have been documented cases of accidents being caused because of this with some of the over the counter cheap alloy look pedal covers.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>that's funny cause I also have a Golf R32 , and the pedals are just slip ons from factory , no bolt holds them on. markturbo Member 8 Member For: 21y 3m 14d Posted 08/06/05 10:35 PM Share Posted 08/06/05 10:35 PM I bought the FPV pedals off Ebay. Delivered 2 days later, I paid $165.Accelerator pedal you pull down and off the metal arm, slip the new one on and give it a sharp tap to lock in.Brake and clutch slip on, drill hole, fit bolt and nut.Looks great.Bit uncomfortable if you are only wearing socks or bare feet though.
