I was keen to see what my T was putting out in stock form before I started doing anything to it (and even that is currently much more of an 'if' rather than a 'when' - the wife is putting her foot down on mods :spoton: ).

Anyway, the car's totally stock and is an auto. Given what I've been told/read so far, I was expecting something between 170-190rwkw, probably tending towards the lower end (I bought the car with 21,000kms on it and therefore didn't have the opportunity to run it in myself). I was therefore very pleasantly surprised to find out that it's actually making 200.9rwkw!!:pics:

The dyno operator was very surprised and asked if I had had it serviced at Ford. The answer is no, which may explain the higher than noraml figure (no reflashing of the ECU?). I'm reliably informed, by one of our esteemed moderators no less, that to get this sort of output from a stock auto is pretty good going, so I'm happy as a pig in :spoton:

That's a great result. I ran my stock auto 2003 26k T on the dyno unmodded three times (2 at Dyno Wog :tease: , 1 at HPF) and got 207.8rwkw, 204.3rwkw, 203.9rwkw.

So your numbers are right IMO :stirthepot:

Whose dyno?  What shootout mode?

After seeking the advice of fellow Canberran members, I took it to Jake's Performance. Now I know less than stuff all about dynos, but noted that he had a Dyno Dynamics (?) set up and it was done in Shootout 6 mode in 3rd (auto) gear.

I was particularly impressed at the HUGE fan he had set up in front of the car. It was obviously a good thing to comment on 'cos he spent quite a while telling me all about it, how much it cost, how much air it moved, etc, etc! Apparently his daughter can't walk in front of it without getting blown over!! :tease::blink:
