I know fabtech make some nifty looking hardcovers with the twin bubbles on the back, if that helps

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Twin bubbles? Is that similiar to the ones used on the V8 Utes? That would be nice.

awcinfo.com are doing a hardlid with this. Also they're doing flat ones available in carbon fibre and fibreglass afaik. They are about the same price as a ford one however they won't warp etc. :pinch:

Heres the ebay link where I bought mine from. The guy was saying hes had guys buy the hardcovers different colour to their ute had sprayed them. The only damage mine had was a few small scratches which were easily fixed plus it was only $950...http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29695&item=4553974216&rd=1

Hi guys

Adam from AWC here, think it was you Mandarin man I was speaking to via email, our hardcovers are on their way very shortly, we have started moulding the bottom and expect to be releasing them within 2 months.

After that we will be doing the "brute ute"/"bubble" style hardcover, aswell as a hardcover to suit the factory sports bars.

We expect them to be about 20kgs compared to the factory 60kgs and will be available in fibreglass or carbon fibre

There is a progress section on our website which I will be making a bit more specific to show stage of project etc which you can check out on our site at www.awcinfo.com , theres also a bunch of other ford stuff on there to browse through :pinch:

cheers

Adam

Are you still looking at a way of fitting central locking? Will the central locking system be able to be retro fitted to a factory cover?
