A question to the forum -and if possible - Mal Wood.

How much power should the standard Mk2 T56 6 speed be capable of reliably handling (long term) ?

Similar question for the standard clutch?

This is assuming nice treatment - ie no dumping clutches etc.

Any ideas?

The Falcon T56 is much better then the Late model camira one, it's got double syncros on the first 4 gears and 32 tooth spline input and out shafts.

My stock T56 clutch was flearing when it came on boost at about 270rwkws.

BCL's gearbox is a modded T56, talk to him. Hes running just under 1400nm (yeah, pick your jaw up off the floor now). I'm fairly sure this is at least 60-70% or so more than the standard box would handle, on the brink of destruction...

So my guess is about 800newtons. Take off 100 to be safe, 700 sounds like a nice, safe round figure.
