Was just thinking today about going on a new contract for my phone and thought, sh*t I've had a lot of mobile phones..

Since 2002 I've had 14 mobiles..

Motorola T600 x 2 - batteries stuffed up on both from memory

phillips savvy - it got wet, didn't turn on

nokia 3310 - stopped working

nokia 3315 x 3 - one is still working, the other 2 are in bits on my drawer

nokia 8210 - went through the wash

nokia 3610 - sold to a friend

nokia 3530 - still works, its in my drawer

nokia 6100 - still works, in the drawer

nokia 5110 - the screen kept fading so I got frustrated and threw it, I cracked the back of it..

nokia 3100 - sold to a mate, then it got stolen from him

Sony Ericsson T630 - my current phone, gonna upgrade shortly.. had it since about december last year (this must be a record for me!)

:stirthepot:

Can you guys top my poor mobile record?

Only ever had 3 phones since about 1998 or so. A Nokia can't recall model number, bit of a brick, one of the first of the digitals. Had it for a couple of years but lost it one night while out on the turps.

Then changed to a Nokia 3210 and from Optus to Vodafone. Still got it, works as good as the day I first got it. Briefly had a Sony-Ericsson of some kind but it had :kissmy: reception compared to the Nokia so re-sold it and actually made a profit on it.

I'd like to get a phone with a camera (such as a Nokia 6110i), not so much as a gimick, so many times when I'm out and about I see something I want to take a pic of and don't have a camera handy but usually have the phone with me 24/7. I can't really justify the money to myself to buy one as I already have a perfectly adequate mobile phone and perfectly adequate digital camera even if they aren't the latest and greatest. They are worth bugger all to sell (if anyone was even interested) and too good to just leave in the cupboard.

I have 3 so far.

00 - 02 Nokia 8210

02 - 04 Nokia 8310

04 - now Motorola E398

I keep my phones for 2 years but I am not sure about the Motorola. After the two Nokias the Motorola just does not seem right to me. I thought I would try something different but I dont really like the E398. Plus I recon its too bloody big compared to the 8310. Wish I never got it!

Mate this area is my specialty not trying to sell you anything but if you actually want to use the camera in the phone make sure it is 1 megapixel or more I don`t think the 6610i is.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I wouldn't get a 6610i. My sister has the 6610, and my dad has the 6610i (the one with the camera) and compared to my T630 the camera is sh*t. All my friends who have nokia's have really crappy camera quality I reckon.. they are evry over rated.

I can't top that list...

Since I got my first job at 18 I've had:

Nokia 5110

Nokia 8210

Nokia 8250

Nokia 6100

Nokia 6230

I usually replace phones once every two years, sometimes sooner sometimes longer depending on how long they last.

I normally spend about 300 hours on the phone each year...
