Dont really know if she did it or not, if she did she deserves something but 20   years is absolute bullsh*t. Far as im concerned indonesia can go and get   I cant help but feel sorry for her

Shane

This is their f*cked Justice system at work.

"An Indonesian court on March 3, 2005, convicted Islamic cleric Abu Bakar Bashir for conspiracy in connection with Jemaah Islamiah’s 2002 terrorist attack on a Bali nightclub that killed 202 people, sentencing Bashir to 30 months imprisonment minus 10 months for time served during the trial. Bashir is reputed to be a leader of the al-Qaeda-linked group. The United States and Australia have praised the conviction but criticized the leniency of the sentence, with Australia calling for prosecutors to file an appeal seeking a lengthier sentence. Bashir’s attorneys insist he, in turn, will file an appeal seeking to overturn the conviction. It appears that the time frame for prosecutors to appeal for a longer sentence is seven days, and that the time frame for the defense to appeal the conviction is 30 days."

Why would any one ever what to go back to such a currupt place like that.

I feel so sorry for the girl.

Just think, just recently 9 Australian service personel died helping the bastards.

I bet the judges won't come to Aus for a holiday.

hey now don't get into the religion, as you dont know who's fault the bali bombings were.. as far as we know, it could have been little steve who owns the corner milkbar. well when u think about it, there was a posibility of life, or even death, so she should be greatful.

You are kidding arent you. 20 years in jail, in some piss-ass country in third-world conditions when locals involved in killing 202 people get considerably less. If she should be greatful for that, Id love to see what a good day would be like for her.

hey, isnt she serving the jail term here?? by the way, the local "masterminds" who 202 people were never proven guilty.. how would we know who actualy did it?? they were the "aleged"(excuse spelling) "masterminds".. I assure u that the person who should be rotting in jail for the bombings is probably in a hotel or cafe as we speak.. people aren't that dumb.. and hey, as the saying goes, "you do the crime, you do the time"(or something like that)

I don't want to argue, just my 2cents

your point is flawed..... they were charged for the bombing just like schapel is charged for the marijuana..... he got 2 years for 202 deaths and she got 20 years for not killing anyone....... and as for the point where you say the the bomber could be steve at the local milkbar... well the guy that put the drugs in her bag could be gary at sydney airport.. you get my drift???

and when you say you assure us that the mastermind is sitting at a coffe shop somewhere.... I recogn your right.... as he was released a while back now

20 years is a joke.
