that's about $14k I believe (a bit less than), the 4kgs of pot was worth about $40k here in Aust

If she was found trying to bring that amount of pot into Oz what would she have got?? Apart from the fact that she would have been presumed innocent she probably would have got a slap on the wrist or at worst a very short jail term..

Even if she did it - its not worth 20 years of your life...

I think you will find that Aussies will not travel to that 3rd world country for holidays anymore.

Why would you, if 90% of Aussies think she is innocent, then they will feel that it could happen to them as well.

Dont really know if she did it or not, if she did she deserves something but 20 years is absolute bullsh*t. Far as im concerned indonesia can go and get I cant help but feel sorry for her

I've put innocent based on the feeling that I have, however I have not just had all the evidence placed in front of me, so I can’t really say for sure…

I do personally believe that she should have just planted a bomb somewhere and claimed she was an extremist, lets face it, she'd probably only get a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again...

I think it’s each country to it’s own in regards to legal system, but I think a legal system is pretty f*cked up where it’s a lighter sentence to blow up many people than to bring in a bit of wacky weed and get high… (Or sell to others to get high)
