im looking for some information as well.

what would be the first mod to save up for?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Edit $1295 general tune and intsalled yourself, $1600-$1800 custom tuned and intalled. Allow for a second CAI and good air filter to compliment.

Boost, around 10psi (depending on the car)

Power, around 240-250rwkw

ET, low 13s easy (especially auto).

Check out the CAPA forum or go to http://www.capa.com.au/xr6.htm

any ideas please,

any advise

any must do's

any must dont

Broad question Muzza. Best bang for buck is Edit. Dont just ask for a mail order, spend a little extra and get it custome tuned to your car.

As a rule, there are no major mods required for your exhaust until you get into the bigger power range.

Do some reading, there is mountains of info on this site.

Suggest you search for words like Edit, CAI (cold air intake), Exhaust, boost, Auto Mods etc. Great to have new members and all, but it's all there for you to see in great detail, from vast experiences. :crybaby:

thanks mate,

can u kindly tell me, under what topic should I search, cuz I m having trouble finding anything.

thANKS

hey muzza... go into the forums section.... choose modifications and workshop.... click on capa performance to find mountains of info on the edit... or alternatively on any other modifier to find info on them... hope that helps :spoton:

I would do the following...

get a 2nd cai

new panel filter

remove centre muffler

install the edit and custom tune

about $2000 all up and easy 240 rwkw

then if you want more:

upgrade injectors

valve springs

new intercooler

fuel pump

then get a new custom tune....

loooking around the 300 rwkw mark :pinch: oh, and and time to upgrade the auto :crybaby:

most of all enjoy... there is heaps of info on the site :pinch:
