All of the 20" rims I have seen on the BA falcon have been poor quality 'ricer' rims. Full chrome, poorly designed spokes, etc.

Get the DJR rims in 20's, or JB's rims for that matter, and then put them on a BA...

I'm sick of seeing these massive lamer chrome rims that someone pulled out of the korn flakes box.... It looks disgusting and ruins the look of the car.

I guess you could say that (unless they are a beautiful display of design excellence) that I'm anti chrome rims, they just suck. No offence intended to anyone here with chrome rims. This is my opinion and I'm not trying to condem anyone becaues they have chrome rims. Its just that from my very 'aussie old school, anti rice' upbringing (in regard to my understanding of cars) that chrome just doesn't cut it when it comes to wheels.

Anyway.

I recon anything bigger than 19" and your just chucking money away on tyres. 19's have a low enough tyre profile to be awesomely spunky, lower it a little and the 19's will almost look like 20's anyway.

Hey Dazza, Is that your XR6 as your avatar? Do you have a bigger pic of it?

What is the price of range of 19" wheels and what is the price range for 19" tyres?

yeah mate, that's my baby.

PM me your email address and I will send you some more pics.

As far as price goes it all depends on what tyres you want, I opted for nankangs which are a good tyre for a budget priced tyre, a lot of people dont like them but I find they wear 3 times better than the standard dunlops and I have done my quickest 1/4 mile times on them too. I paid $2900 new for mine in my pic, we also bought a different set for our SS ute for $2500 with same tyres. Depending on whether you can find a place with a sale on, I would say they range from anywhere between $2200 - $4000, taking into account preference in tyres. The only thing I suggest is to see the wheel in the flesh before buying it, as the real life quality of the finish (especially chrome) can look alot different than in the brochure.

Check out Tempe Tyres or Ozzy Tyres for some cheap tyre/wheel packages, should be able to get some 19s for <$3K.

As for tyres, you can buy cheap Falken or Nankang 19" from about $200ea or pay about $800ea for Dunlop SP9000 (same as Ford OEM). Depends what your budget is and what sort of performance/wear you want from them.
